Algarve Nature Week (Portugal)

The Algarve Nature Week was an entertainment and touristic promotional event entirely dedicated to the nature tourism, which ran in Faro, from the 9th to 17th May 2015 and that caught the attention of our students to the natural beauty of the Algarve Region.
The event proposed hiking, birds and cetaceans watching, boating, cycling, horse and donkey rides, travels in balloon or even under water.
They were attended by several hundreds of students from the schools in Faro, including several students of Escola Dr. José de Jesus Neves Júnior. The teacher Sílvia Palma was present with some of her classes.
The event was organized by the Algarve Tourist Office, with the support of "Turismo de Portugal" and with the partnership of seven regional entities.
